Towel heads

towel heads, childhood memories | Art Therapy with Kimberly

Taking it back to a much simpler time when I found extreme amounts of joy in throwing a shirt (or towel) over my head and pretending my short boy-looking hair was actually long, luscious, Rapunzel-type locks.

I was allowed to have long hair so long as I agreed to one simple request: brushing it. I just could not agree to something so seemingly unnecessary and painful and why was my mum so unfair and cruel!?!?

But it didn’t really matter anyway because when I felt like pretending to be a princess I’d just throw a shirt on my head and boom! Rapunzel.
