Counselling & Therapy in North Vancouver
My name is Kimberly. I’m an art therapist, meditation teacher, published author, and a mother. I work out of two studios in North Vancouver and host weekly Art Therapy Workshops at The North Shore Neighbourhood House for the Stroke Recovery Centre.
My work combines counselling, intuitive art-making, and mindfulness to create safe, supportive spaces for personal growth and healing. Art therapy is about the process and the cathartic release of emotions, it is not about the outcome. You do not have to be an artist to do art therapy.
I have witnessed how art can help us access and process unspoken emotions and reconnect with our wisest, truest self. I’m passionate about supporting others in stepping into their fullest potential.
Services

Group Therapy
Group workshops typically involve meditation, creative prompts, and group sharing. The intention behind these groups is to facilitate healing and create a sense of community.

Individual Therapy
I currently offer individualised in-person art therapy at Honeycomb in Harbourside and at Peggy Clarkson‘s studio on Pemberton avenue. Both locations are in North Vancouver, BC.
About Kimberly
I was born in North Vancouver and raised in Pakistan, Egypt, Ghana, Jamaica, and Ukraine. I spent most of my adult life living in Sydney, Australia and moved back ‘home’ to Canada in 2024 after the birth of my second child.
My own healing journey began at the age of 25, after the death of my sister. Along the way, I met some incredible art therapists, counsellors, psychologists, and other healers who have deeply shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally.
My approach to therapy is integrative. I draw on humanistic, existential, Adlerian, Jungian, and transpersonal perspectives. Together these frameworks share a belief in the inherent potential of each person and the transformative power of creativity.
