Here are some pictures of my beautiful mother before her two little kiddos came along (and one after).
These pictures are vivid examples of the adventurous, gentle and nurturing person my mum is. The woman who married the man she fell deeply in love with at 17 and followed him around the world. A person who will laugh until she can barely breathe, making you feel like the funniest person in the whole world. An animal lover, a talented painter and a beautiful photographer.
The most nurturing, caring person I have ever known.
The type of mother that somehow faced losing one of her daughters and still manages to keep her head above the water.
Here’s to my strong mum for showing me that it is possible to remain gentle and kind, no matter how hard life has been to you.
