Warm Jamaican memories

This is my favorite memory. When we lived in Jamaica, every Sunday we would visit a little island called Lime Quay.

We would either take a jet boat there or go on a friend’s boat, called Rebel, as seen in this picture. We spent the entire afternoon exploring and discovering, swimming and playing while my parents would sit in the water relaxing with a beer. We’d come home exhausted and salty, and maybe stop for some jerk chicken before driving back home.

I want to go back here one day and see how it’s changed. That island, actually Jamaica in general, holds my most cherished childhood memories.
