Presence in The Ordinary

These are the days when I “wake up” feeling jet-lagged, like I’m on a perpetual flight, without ever arriving anywhere. The days when I’ve gone beyond my limit again. And again.
Being a parent in 2024

It’s clear to me that my children are going to encounter a very different experience as a human on this planet. I can’t even imagine the life of my children’s children. Will we even be able to sustain ourselves as a species for that long?

I moved back

We got through the major obstacle of selling everything we own and then immediately boarding a 14.5 hour flight with our two little girls. Now we’re at the part where we try to make a life for ourselves.

A new chapter is just around the corner in a whole new country and I’m sure this one to come will be beautiful in its own way, but I still grieve the end of this one.
