Despite the fact that this time of year is always going to be hard for me, today was a perfect day.
Initially, I planned a hiking trip for today but was sick all week with a sore throat and body aches. I had to cancel the hiking but we ended up doing this instead. We had a delicious BBQ at my friend’s place, got some beers and headed to the park nearby. It was perfect.
Beyond grateful for the friends I have here.
